I recently married an old boyfriend from forty years ago when I was working as a copywriter at Doyle Dane Bernbach -- the top creative agency in New York City and he was the Creative Director.
I had been splitting my time between New York and Useppa, a small private island off the west coast of FLorida where Bob had a house.
Unfortunately Bob died last year. I am back in NYC full time.
Besides working as an advertising copywriter I worked briefly as a paralegal for lawyers who were supposed to be representing Holocaust victims but ignored their calls and mail and even their visits.
I wrote to the New York Times and the Federal Eastern District Judge and sent them information about the lawyers which ended up incorporated in a front page article in The New York Times. My picture included as the whistle blowing paralegal. I also appeared on 20/20, effectively ending my short lived career as a paralegal.
I starting writing my own stuff and now I'm a freelance writer, specializing in animal rights, animal welfare issues and memoir pieces.
I'm also looking for an agent for my self help/personal empowerment book,"You Don't Have To Take That Shit, Open Your Mouth" about how people can stick up for themselves, fight back and win.
And, I'm a contributing writer for the Mayor' Alliance for NYC's Animals.

I wish I had learned to type then.
I can't believe I got up early enough to actually be in school at 8:00 in the morning.
