Comments:

I got married in 1961 to James A Watson, a TV repair man & locksmith among other occupations over the years. All my children were born in the Detroit area. We moved to Arizona in 1984. We felt like pioneers, as we only knew one person, (my sister), and had no jobs, or permanent place to live. Did find a nice apartment within 2 weeks, and found jobs soon after. I worked the temp serivces for the first 5 years in Phoenix, and finally was hired into the State of Arizona, (ADOT- Aroizona Dept of Transp.) as a secretary. Workedmy way up to Admin Assistant, and retired after 20 years of service. My husband of 40 years passed away 9 years ago. I keep very busy with Demo work (at supermarkets) on week-ends, volunteer at the Orpheum Theatre, and Symphony Hall, Red Hat society, and many good friends from Michigan that I have rediscovered. I live in a very nice large manufactured home near a big street, Bell Road, that has everything one could want for shopping, entertainment, and stores. A person could eat their way across Bell Road, and never run out of places to eat. A perfect location for me. I currently am "going steady" with a very nice gentleman from Cleveland Ohio. We have been seeing eachother for the past 5 years. My 2 oldest son and daughter are living in Sterling Hts, and Clinton Twp, my 3rd son lives in San Diego area, and my youngest son lives here. All are married to wonderful people, and I have 6 grandchildren, 2 in San Diego area, and 4 in the Detroit area. All in all, I am very happy, as Arizona has been good to me over the years. I am looking forward to our 50th class reunion, and can wait to re-connect with classmates.

School Story:

Can't really remember any stories, except I really enjoyed my years at Mumford.
