Karen passed away suddenly on June 12, 2010, of complications of cancer. She was surrounded by friends and loved ones. Karen is survived by her husband, Marvin, sons Bradley and Bobby, 5 grandchildren, and two stepsons, Mark and Steven Kronenberg. Karen was very much looking forward to attending the upcoming reunion with Marvin. She married Keith Frank in Detroit and relocated to Nashville in 1973. Keith passed away suddenly in 1983. Karen met Marvin in 1987 and they were married in 1990. After 5 years in Texas, they moved to Detroit, and then relocated to Nashville again in 2002, as Marvin returned to a position as a Cardiologist at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
Karen was a warm, loving, caring mother, wife and grandmother. She was found to have colon cancer in 2000, and she fought a strong battle against this, always keeping a positive attitude, in spite of symptoms and complications. Donations in her memory may be sent to Gilda's Club of Nashville, where she was a long time member
