So terribly sad today. Jerry was the essence of the Yiddish term, Gutten Nachumah...a good soul. Friends since Durfee and throughout life. My first crush, although I wasn't alone. His kindness and warmth and caring nature were reflected in everything he did. He was one of the few people who called me Muriel, and I called him Jerome. we had paper routes and were carry-out boys at Dexter Davison Mkt together and lived accross the street on Indiana
we played a lot of baseball too . he was a great left handed hitter
